Unique's Kitchen


Gujje Manchuri

It is one of the seasonal dish. Gujje stands for baby jackfruit.But we can also use canned gujje.I had tasted this in Ayodhya restaurant Mangalore.Then just thought of doing in my style. My hubby loves it…..It is really yummy……

Ingredients

Gujje-1tin or 20 pieces
Corn flour -1/2 cup
Besan powder- 2tbs
Paprika-2tbs
Chili powder-1/2tbs
Ginger-garlic paste-1tbs
Salt-for taste
Green bell pepper-1small
Onion-1medium size
Spring onion-2 small bunches
Ginger-1/2 inch
Garlic-2 cloves
Pepper powder-1/4tbs
Soya sause-3 ½ tbs
Tomato sause-2tbs
Chili sause-3tbs
Oil- for frying

Method
----------
1.Mix corn flour, besan powder, paprika (it gives colour as well as flavor) chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, salt with little amount of water.
2.Heat oil for frying and dip the gujje’s and fry till it done. And keep aside.
3. In another side heat the pan with 2tbs of oil and fry thinly sized long onions till golden colour.
4.Add green bell pepper and minced ginger and garlic fry for few minutes. Then keep the heat in sim.
5.Add Soya sause, tomato sause, and chili sause. Mix it nicely. Add pinch of salt. Sprinkle chopped spring onions. And pepper powder.
6.Mix fried gujje’s with this mixture and Serve immediately.
